Removal of Malware Protection Randomly Generated Reports

Malware Protection offers its reports to users. The reports are randomly generated from names the program has in its database. Those names belong to real viruses, but, since they are extracted at random by the adware, there is no scan carried out to consider them true detections. Remove Malware Protection as adware that refers to random names of real viruses to mislead users into thinking their PCs are infected with the infections it has specified. Then it annoyingly reminds of them every now and then prompting user to delete infections detected. There are two things user should not do in that situation:
  • trying to delete them manually (applicable only where the adware specifies locations of so called threats)
  • activating the annoying software
Get rid of Malware Protection and delete genuine virus detections using free scanner available below.

How to remove Malware Protection manually:
It's possible to remove Malware Protection manually, but you have to be very experienced in dealing with registry entries, program files and .dll files.

The files to be deleted:

%Documents and Settings\[UserName]\Application Data\defender.exe

Remove registry entries:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Malware Protection"

Please be careful because manual removal of Malware Protection may seriously damage operational system and sensitive data. Also there is a big possibility of incomplete removal, because some files could be hidden and program could re-install itself after you delete files and registry entries. So we strongly recommend you to use automatical removal tool.
