PCprotectar is another security application that only pretends to be so, but indeed it is simple rogue (or fake) antispyware tool that has nothing to do with computer protection. Being promoted by Trojans this program is very perilous for your computer and all private documents stored down there. Once infection has wormed into your machine it is going to download and install PCprotectar without your agreement or knowledge. During installation it is going to drop tons of files wirth random names in Windows directory. After each scan, PCprotectar will detect those files as threats, though they are harmless and were created only to make you feel afraid about your computer. PCprotectar will never allow you to remove those infections unless you have purchased its license which you can find if to follow the link PCprotectar gives after scan. Despite fake system scans, you are also going to receive tons of annoying notifications on your desktop every time you work on your PC. Such pop-ups will state about inappropriate security level without so called “full” version of PCprotectar or about hijacking of your computer that has been blocked by PCprotectar. All these pop-ups are nothing more but scam that all rogue antispyware applications use in their nasty strategy of influence. What is more, PCprotectar is going to hijack your Internet browser and is going to deny access to those security related web pages that can detect and remove PCprotectar from your computer. It will recommend not opening such links stating that they are infected and potentially dangerous. All in all, PCprotectar is very unwanted security tool that only imitates working, but does nothing except tricking and scaring instead. For these reason it should be removed from your computer immediately after detection.
